AkomAsa Arts is thrilled to announce a great opportunity to experience what it means to be a young person training at AkomaAsa Arts. Take the opportunity to engage in high quality of dance and performing arts training in Western and African Diaspora Dance and Music. The activities include developing skills in acting, musical theatre, singing, dancing, drumming and percussion.

Summer is the ideal time to learn more about our social, cultural and creative world we live in. Experience AkomaAsa Arts academy this August 2023.
Children and young people 6 – 16 year-olds
Learn to drum and be part of a West African drumming and percussion band creating your own compositions; Djembe and Dun-dun drums provided. Engage in various dance and drama workshops learning choreography and devising your own work. Come together with others in a musical theatre session and perform all you have learnt over the week to an audience.
